It’s just you and the wall: the psychology of failing again, and again, and-

And I think it’s because, in the real world, I:

Give up pretty easily when I fail at something, thinking “well, I guess this isn’t for me after all”.
Don’t even try in the first place because I am so absolutely terrified of failing that I would rather hold onto the dream of reaching something than actually try to reach it and fail.

From Angry Bin Monkey to newborn puppies: animal encounters from around the world

As it’s Thursday (throwback Thursday) I thought I’d show my traveling story through the pictures I’ve taken of animals.

As a vegan, I love all animals (except ants, I’m sorry. I am terrified of ants) and anywhere I’ve been I’ve always been drawn to taking gratuitous pictures of animals. It was super hard to choose, but I managed to whittle this list down to my favourites:

If you didn’t do anything this summer…

You worked? Then, you’ve managed to save. Oh, you haven’t managed to save (me neither mate. I live in Oxford and the rent kills me). That’s fine though, you worked. Sharpening skills, or realizing you’re ready to move on, or challenging yourself, or whatever work does for you.

Or, you stayed at home because being outside, having a job, is too much right now. Well that’s okay too, you’re knowing your limits and you’re using this time to work on yourself, to heal. You’ll go out when you’re ready. Not all explorations are mountains and road-trips.
